KIITEE 2021

KIITEE Exam Pattern 2021 will be released by KIIT University along with the information brochure. The exam will be held from in the month of July at 69 cities across India. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must familiarise themselves with KIITEE exam pattern to ensure better performance during the paper. KIITEE exam pattern gives candidates an overview of the different sections, total questions, total marks and marking scheme in the paper.


KIITEE Exam Pattern Highlights 2021 for BTech Courses

  • KIITEE 2021 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • KIITEE question paper carries a total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
  • Total duration of KIITEE exam is three hours
  • Each question in KIITEE paper carries four answer options. Candidates need to select the one correct answer.
  • Candidates can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number. The answered question number will be marked green while the unanswered question will remain in blue colour
  • In case candidates are doubtful about the answer of a question, they can mark a question for review using the 'Mark for review button'
  • In case candidates need to change the answer of a question, they can select the question and change its answer by clicking on the appropriate answer
  • Once candidates have completed answering all questions in a particular section, they will be automatically directed to the first question of the next section

KIITEE Exam Pattern for BTech (Section-Wise)

KIITEE exam for BTech course admissions contains a total of three sections. Candidates need to complete all sections in the exam in a duration of three hours. Given below is section-wise exam pattern for KIITEE 2021:

KIITEE Marking Scheme 2021 for BTech Courses

Total marks that candidates can score in KIITEE is 480. Each question carries a weightage of four marks. There is negative marking of one mark for every incorrect answer. KIITEE Exam Pattern 2021: CBT Guidelines

  • Candidates need to login to the allotted computer by entering the password given on KIITEE admit card.
  • Candidates will be given a sheet for rough work
  • Candidates have to start answering the questions once the timer starts.
  • Candidates cannot take any break before the completion of the test
  • In case candidates finish their paper before the allotted time, they will get a confirmation page with two options - to go back to the test or complete the test
  • In case candidates wish to review their answers, they can do so in the remaining time or else complete the test
  • Once candidates complete the test, they need to click on Submit button
  • Once candidates complete and submit the online test, a message on the screen will appear with a thank you note
  • The test will automatically close after the completion of three hours
