TS EAMCET Admission 2023 – Step-by-Step Process

After the declaration of TS EAMCET results, the next step is counseling where you, the candidate, get to choose which college and stream you want to attend. This process is extremely important as your future and career depends on it. Be mindful of every step and follow our guide below for a successful counseling and seat allotment.

This is a step-by-step guide for candidates going to participate in the TS EAMCET counseling process.

TS EAMCET 2023 counseling process involves a number of stages as mentioned below:

Stage 1: Payment Of TS EAMCET Examination/Counseling Fee

The very first step of TS EAMCET 2023 counseling is the payment of the fee. Candidates can pay the fee in online mode (credit/debit card/internet banking). The fee for the unreserved category is Rs.1200, while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 600. The procedure to pay the counseling fees is as follows:

1st Step: Visit the TS EAMCET official website tseamcet.nic.in.

2nd Step: Click on the link which says ‘Processing Fee Payment’.

3rd Step: Enter the ‘Hall ticket number’ and ‘Rank’.

4th Step: Click on the ‘Pay Fees’ link.

5th Step: Select the mode of payment

6th Step: Enter the required credentials for credit/debit card or net banking.

7th Step: Click on the ‘Make Payment’ option to pay the fee.

Stage 2: Document Verification

Candidates must report to the TS EAMCET help centers for document verification as per the date and schedule. Candidates will be issued the receipt of document verification after a successful verification post in which registration and exercising web options can be done. Following is the list of documents to be carried for the verification:

  • TS EAMCET hall ticket
  • Aadhaar card
  • TS EAMCET rank card
  • SSC or equivalent mark sheet
  • Class 6 to intermediate certificates
  • Transfer certificate
  • Intermediate or its equivalent memo-cum-pass certificate
  • Income certificate (of the Guardians/Parents)
  • Caste certificate issued by the concerned authority
  • Residence certificate of either of the parents in Telangana for a period of 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

Documents required by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates for TS EAMCET counseling:

  • Anglo Indian Certificate issued by Tahsildar of their place of residence.
  • NCC and Sports Original certificates issued by the concerned authority.
  • Minorities – SSC TC contains Minority status or certificate from the headmaster.
  • PH – Certificate issued by the District Medical Board – Candidates with only 40% and above disability are eligible.
  • CAP – Certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer – Identity card and Discharge book (in case of Ex-Servicemen) and Service Certificate (in case of in-Servicemen) issued by the concerned authority for verification.

Stage 3: TS EAMCET Examination Counseling 2023 – Registration

After document verification is done, candidates have to register at the official website by following the steps mentioned below:

1st Step: Visit the official website of TS EAMCET 2023 – tseamcet.nic.in.

2nd Step: Click on the ‘Candidate Registration’ link.

3rd Step: Enter your registration number, TS EAMCET hall ticket number, rank in the entrance exam, and date of birth.

4th Step: Click on ‘Generate Password’.

5th Step: Verify all the details on the screen and create a password of your choice for future login.

6th Step: Click on the ‘Save Password’ button to complete the registration process.

7th Step: Candidate will see ‘Registration Successful’ message post completion of registration.

Stage 4: Option Entry

Candidates must log in to the candidate portal using their registration number and password to exercise web options. When exercising web options, candidates must fill their choices of colleges in order of preference. Below are the steps to be followed to exercise the web options:

1st Step: Visit the official website of TS EAMCET 2023 – tseamcet.nic.in.

2nd Step: Click on the ‘Candidate Registration’ link.

3rd Step: Login using registration number, password, hall ticket number, and date of birth.

4th Step: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

5th Step: Enter the OTP and click on ‘Click Here for Option Entry’ to exercise the web options.

6th Step: Select the district of the chosen college.

7th Step: Click on the ‘Display Option Entry Form’ button.

8th Step: Enter choices of colleges in order of preference and save the options.

9th Step: These preferences will be locked for seat allotment.

Stage 5: TS EAMCET Allotment of Seats 

The TSCHE will allot seats to all the candidates who have filled choices before the last date. Seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s score in TS EAMCET 2023 and choices filled. Candidates will have to download their provisional seat allotment letter from their portal and visit the allotted institute for completing the admission process.

Stage 6: Reporting to Allotted Institute

Candidates must visit the allotted institute within specified dates and a provisional seat allotment letter and all required documents, failing which the admission to the institute will get canceled.
