JEE MAINS 2024 Application Date: National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the application process for

75 Percent Criteria for JEE Mains 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) reintroduced the 75 percent marks eligibility criteria in JEE Mains last year. Now, candidates aiming for admission to their desired institute need a minimum of 75% in their class 12th as qualifying marks for JEE Mains. Prior to COVID-19, such a condition did not exist, and no 12th percentage was required for JEE Mains 2024. Any candidate found ineligible based on the 75 percent criteria of JEE Mains will be declared disqualified and will not be offered admission to institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.

JEE Main 2024 Tiebreaker rules:

In the multiple candidates achieving the same marks in the JEE Main 2024 exam, tie-breaking rules are applied. The following methods are used to resolve ties:

JEE Main 2024 counseling will be conducted online by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). To seek admission to participating institutes, candidates must register on the JoSAA portal and complete the choice filling process. The seat allotment by JoSAA is based on factors such as the candidate’s choices, available seats, and rank. The counseling process consists of six rounds, including two mock rounds.
