JEE Main 2024 Tiebreaker rules:

In the multiple candidates achieving the same marks in the JEE Main 2024 exam, tie-breaking rules are applied. The following methods are used to resolve ties:

Priority is given to the Mathematics scores, followed by Physics and Chemistry.

Candidates with a higher number of correct answers are preferred over those with more incorrect answers.

JEE Main 2024 Counseling

JEE Main 2024 counseling will be conducted online by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). To seek admission to participating institutes, candidates must register on the JoSAA portal and complete the choice filling process. The seat allotment by JoSAA is based on factors such as the candidate’s choices, available seats, and rank. The counseling process consists of six rounds, including two mock rounds. Here are the steps involved in the JEE Main counseling process:

• Registration: Candidates have to log in using their JEE Main roll number and password. JEE Advanced candidates should use their corresponding password for login and provide the required basic details.
• Choice Filling: After registration, candidates must select their preferred courses and institutes in the order of preference.
