National Eligibility Entrance Test 2021 – Dates Announced
National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST NEET (UG) – 2021 will be conducted on Sunday, the 12 September 2021 in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages.
The registration process for NEET-UG 2021 will be conducted from July 13 to August 6. The admit card will be released three days prior to the conduct of the exam.

Latest Updates: National Eligibility Entrance Test 2021
NTA has announced the schedules for NEET 2021 Exams after lengthy deliberations from Education Ministry with parents, students & other stakeholders. It was discussed whether there is a possibility of conducting NEET 2021 Exam online & also the possibility of conducting it twice this year. However, to put an end to all the speculation NTA has announced that NEET 2021 Exam will be conducted on August 1st in offline mode across the country. In a recent development from the education ministry, it is also concluded that NEET 2021 Exam will be conducted only Once this year. NTA will start the process of Applications anytime soon with the latest expected date to be in the third week of March.
A Brief History of Medical Entrance Examinations in India
NTA National Eligibility Entrance Test is one of India’s most competitive exams seeking admissions for Top MBBS & BDS graduation colleges in India. There are various state level & private entrance examinations for Medical Entrance Exams of Graduate & Post Graduate courses like NEET PG 2021, AIIMS 2021, AIIMS PG 2021, JIPMER 2021 (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Research)
In 2017, the Union Cabinet of Ministers established National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct entrance examinations like JEE Mains, NEET-UG, NET, CMAT & Graduation Pharmacy Test.
While the envisioned Programme of Action 1992 & National Education Policy of 1986 laid the foundation for the Common National Institution for conducting exams for Higher Education in India, the true policy level changes only started after the Establishment of NEET in November 2017.

Age Limit for NEET 2021 Exam
Candidate Appearing for the NEET 2021 exam should have a minimum of 17 Years of age as of December 31, 2021.
The upper age limit for NEET 2021 exam is yet to be decided, students above 25 years of age can write the exam provisionally pending the decision of the Delhi High Court
Main Subjects and Minimum Qualification
Students who have cleared or appearing for the final Class 12 or equivalent from any recognized university can apply for the NEET 2021 Exam.
Applicant should have Biology, Physics & Chemistry as the primary subjects in their class 12, students with other subjects and biology as an additional subject are also eligible to apply for NEET 2021.
